Volunteer: Festival Gate CrewThe gate crew is in charge of greeting folks that come into the festival. They will be: -Taking suggested donations at the entrances -Handing out stickers -Passing out information/directing people with questions to the Info Booth -Serving as crowd control at the entry point to the festival Folks taking the first early shift, before the festival, will serve as gate monitors. Ensuring that people don't come into the space early. Important note: Open water bottles/liquid containers are not allowed inside the festival, but empty water bottles and unopened beverages (such as soda cans) are allowed. We're offering new programming and meals this year. We are currently in need of a few volunteers to engage in the senior tent. The primary needs will be to -assist in loading totes and patio furniture into trucks or cars -meet at the unload destination to help unload. For this opportunity, you should be able to assist in lifting items between 50 - 70 lbs, and it is helpful if you have reliable transportation. Volunteers will meet at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park, and then be dispatched to the unload destination with a Pride staff, as needed.
