Join us this Martin Luther King Jr. Day for a special event celebrating community, resilience, and connection! Pride Northwest and HRC Portland are teaming up to create handmade cards that will be included in care packages as part of Pride Northwest's Resilience Drive. These care packages will be shared with members of our community as a reminder of our collective strength and support.
After the card-making activity, we’ll hold a community space for connection and reflection. This year, Martin Luther King Jr. Day also coincides with Inauguration Day, which can bring up complex emotions for many of us. Together, we’ll create space to share, reflect, and support one another in meaningful ways.
This event is an opportunity to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by fostering unity and taking action for our community. Whether you’re new to these efforts or a long-time advocate, we invite you to join us in building resilience and connection together!
All materials for card-making will be provided, and light refreshments will be available.
